We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our retail showroom team. This role combines creativity with customer engagement, as you will be responsible for designing inspiring interiors while also working directly with clients in the showroom to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with walk-in clients to understand their design preferences, requirements, and budgets.
- Create innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.
- Specialize in designing kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, outdoor areas, and overall space planning.
- Prepare mood boards, layout plans, and 3D visualizations using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
- Guide clients through material selection, furniture, tiles, décor, and finishes available in the showroom.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to prepare accurate quotations and project timelines.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and product offerings in the showroom.
- Mentor and guide junior designers as needed.
Job Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in a retail or showroom environment.
- Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Strong sense of design aesthetics, attention to detail, and space planning.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
