  • Receive, inspect, and properly store all incoming merchandise.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure the store is well-stocked at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and display of products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and storage areas.
  • Analyze sales data to understand product performance, trends, and customer preferences.
  • Recommend stock replenishments and product assortment adjustments based on data insights.
  • Support visual merchandising efforts by aligning stock availability with display requirements.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to optimize inventory turnover and reduce dead stock.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory turnover, slow-moving items, and product demand forecasts.
  • Assist in planning seasonal promotions and markdown strategies based on product performance.

Job Skills

Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory controller, or merchandise analyst in a retail setting. Knowledge of retail home products is a plus. Familiarity with inventory management systems (ERP/POS). Strong analytical and Excel skills. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory or retail management is an advantage.
